CLO — Introduction
Develops techniques and tools for creating a virtual prototype.
Did you know that between 70 and 80 per cent of a product's impact on the environment is defined during the product design and development phase? What if it were possible to visualise a prototype before producing it in a matter of minutes? With this training you will be able to develop techniques and tools for creating a virtual prototype from the mould up. Digital fashion is emerging, not as the answer to all problems, but as part of the solution to reducing the destructive impact of the textile industry.

The course may be cancelled or changed if the number of participants is insufficient or in order to achieve a better balance of sessions.
Skills
- Familiarise yourself with CLO3D software tools and techniques
- Create garments in 3D, from mould to avatar visualisation/simulation
- Build connections with other software, namely Adobe Illustrator, in the transition from 2D to 3D
- Acquire the skills and confidence to create your own garments and concepts
- Enrich CV and portfolio, contributing to redefining the future of fashion design, making it future-proof
