Rui Caldas

Rui Caldas is a lecturer at ESAD since 2008. As a teacher, he shares his knowledge in various areas, from sound to video, from programming to electronics, from workshop practices to 3D modelling and printing. 
With a degree in Sound Design and a diverse career, he has participated in several films as a foley artist and editor, recording in the studio and live, and was also responsible for building ESAD’s sound studio. 
He participates as a trainer in various workshops related to video games, both nationally and internationally, an experience that provides him with opportunities to interact with international professionals and enriches his knowledge in the field, as well as his commitment to sharing knowledge with students and the community. On a personal and artistic level, he develops small video games, with several titles and tutorials already published under the pseudonym HomeGameCoder.
