The European Design Awards Festival is taking place in Porto next May! To announce the event, next World Graphics Day, April 27th, will bring to both Porto (FBAUP) and Matosinhos (ESAD) design schools, Roland Stieger from TGG (Switzerland) and Jeroen van Erp from Fabrique (Netherlands).

How to Promote your Work in the Design Arena is the pre-conference theme, hoping to debate and expand a topic of interest to both students and professionals.

Each year, since 2007, the European Design Awards celebrate excellence in the fields of print, web and exhibition design, illustration, packaging, mobile apps and motion graphics, taking place in a different city.

This year, and for the first time in Portugal, the European Design Awards Festival and Awards Ceremony will be held in Porto under the theme Celebrating Creative Excellence. Previous to the Awards Ceremony at Rivoli Theatre on May 27, the Festival will include exhibitions, studio visits and conferences with some of the best designers in Europe.
