As part of the first year curricular program from the Master Product Design, selected students participated in an international competition with SMC BMC Design Awards 2017. The briefing was to design new product solutions for furniture and lighting, using the SMC BCM material as a principle component.

Two students from the ESAD Masters Product Design have been selected for the SMC BMC Design Awards 2017: Aiste Bankauskaite and Ruben Silva. Ruben is invited to Stuttgart (Germany) to present his design in September, to the official Award Ceremony, where the winner will be announced and the chance to win the Gold, Silver or Bronze Award.
