Erja Parviainen is a teacher at the Helsinki Metropolia University, Finland. She is a lecturer in Applied Sciences on the Degree Programme of Fashion and Clothing.

With a Master of Science in Technology, she worked for several years in many textile industries. She teaches diferent subjects as Materials, Quality Management and Ecological & Ethical Things in the fashion area (sustainability and social responsibility).
