I'm a car designer with huge passion for my job. In our lives we search for beauty in the things we buy; we want beautiful furniture in our home, we want nice cloths to wear and of course we aim to have a beautiful car drive. However, the furniture must also be functional, the clothes must be comfortable and the car (or cars) you drive must fit the every day needs of our lives. The balance between beauty and functionality is the key to good design. Fabris Boris, 2014

This summer workshop is a unique experience to how a professional vehicle designer works within the automotive industry. Taking the sketch through to scale prototypes: the students will have a hands-on approach to the creative process in parallel with lectures and various case-studies to aid the intentions of the daily exercises.

The Car Design Workshop takes place at ESAD, in July 2015, with the prestigious product designer Boris Fabris, team leader at Fioravanti, Italy, after working as a modeler at Italdesign Giugiaro and at Haima Automobile.

Boris Fabris was already at ESAD this year, under the MA in Product Design, sharing his work and experience at ESAD ID Talks 2014/15.
