The course centres on the study of packaging as a structural, technological and communicative interface for packaging and identifying food products in the blue economy sector.
The course focuses on the study of packaging as a structural, technological and communicative interface for packaging and identifying food products in the blue economy. Students acquire skills in the concept, design and graphic features of packaging, labels and tags that enhance products and brands, thereby ensuring full participation in business or institutional workplace contexts in the field of Packaging Design. This course studies the performance functions of packaging and the graphic communication of products. It analyzes the functional skills of handling and gripping, as well as the systems for opening and closing packaging. It addresses environmental sustainability and blue circularity in the production of packaging with renewable, recyclable and low-carbon materials, responding to growing demand for ethical, ecological and organic products. It also examines logistics and distribution standards and applies current legislation.
