Raquel Salomé
Raquel Salomé is a researcher and member of esad—idea, adjunct professor and member of the Technical-Scientific Council at ESAD since 2000. She has a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management (2012) and a master’s degree in Industrial Design (2005) from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. Her scientific research focuses on Design and Sustainability and the study of eco-efficient materials/systems. She supervises master’s dissertations and is a member of juries for doctoral and master’s exams.
She is the author of scientific articles published in national and international specialised magazines and books. As part of her professional activity, within her research profile, she is responsible for two curricular units in the Product Design degree programme at ESAD and, within the context of the Blue Design Alliance, she is responsible for the Scientific Coordination of the Postgraduate course in Product Design and Maritime and River Spaces, in which she teaches Materials and Sustainability: Circularity and Efficiency.
