Rafael Coelho is a design researcher and lecturer on the Product Design programme at ESAD, where he did his undergraduate degree in Equipment Design and master’s degree in Product Design. He teaches subjects related to digital communication tools, 3D modelling, rendering and additive manufacturing, as well as subjects related to the manual construction of models and prototypes. 
He is a collaborator at esad—idea, where he carries out research in Product Design. He coordinates the new CTeSP, Maritime and Fluvial Product Design Course, where he teaches topics related to the development, digital production and communication of jewellery. He is co-author of publications to support teaching activities published by ESAD.
