Miguel Lima graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and received a one-year Erasmus scholarship at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He had his first contact with independent cinema at the production company Ar de Filmes in 2015. In 2016, he moved to Porto to join the animation team at the production company Bando à Parte, where he was part of artistic teams and helped develop award-winning film projects. He is currently developing his personal and collective projects at BAP - Animation Studio, where he is the head of the animation department.
