Educated in Portugal, Marco honed his skills in CAD, reverse engineering, process control and 3D printing, primarily serving the automotive, energy, healthcare, and footwear industries. His tenure as the manager of an industrial design department, lasting over a decade, has shaped his unique approach to integrating design with industry-specific needs. Marco's recent endeavours have seen him lead a consultancy department for multinational firms, with a special focus on fostering green energy solutions. His commitment to this field is reflected in his work to advance quality assurance and fabrication process control in the wind energy sector. As a longstanding teacher at ESAD, Marco infuses his pedagogical approach with his wealth of real-world knowledge, nurturing the designers of tomorrow to meet the complex challenges of today's world.
