Luciana Barbosa is a designer who works as consultant in various domains: furniture, decoration, textiles, sustainability and innovation. Her talent has been widely recognised, with the 1st and 2nd prizes in developing cutlery for Herdmar in 2012, the 1st prize in designing kitchen knives for ICEI in 2014, the special mention for the design of the “Metamorphosis” chair in the “Excellent Product Design — Furniture” category in the renowned Design Award 2023.
As a teacher, she strives to convey her knowledge and experience gained both in the academy and outside. Led by the belief that design is a way of life, striving for a better world where humans, plants and animals coexist in harmony, in equality and respecting historical heritage. Her approach to design is characterised by dedication, excellency and commitment, aiming to create significant projects that contribute to a better future.
