José Mário graduated in Fine Arts — Painting in 1991 from the Porto Higher School of Fine Arts (ESBAP). “Manual de instruções para a construção de um livro de Geometria” is the title of the Master’s degree he completed in 2015. He has been teaching and coordinating the Geometry and Design UC since 1989 and teaching Drawing since 2005 at ESAD. He is a jury member for the Higher Education entrance exams for people over twenty two and is responsible for the International Geometry Exams for access to ESAD’s degree programmes. A trainer in Geometry and Technical Drawing, he has taken part in a number of painting exhibitions.
