My name is João Maria André, I was born 70 years ago in Monte Real (Leiria), I did my learning in the world and with life and I studied Philosophy at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra, where for over 40 years I shared ideas with students in the areas of Philosophy, Culture and Theatre.

I am also a director and writer of poetry, theatre and philosophical essays, in which I feed my art and knowledge by listening to the world. I've written about Philosophy, Mysticism, Intercultural Dialogue, Hospitality, Theatre and Affectivity. I continue to be amazed and to learn from amazement, because I am convinced that we die when we stop learning.
