Joana Jorge has developed a diverse career in fashion design.
After studying for a master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London, she travelled to Italy to join Alberta Ferretti's design team. Her experience as a designer was later complemented by stints at Topshop, Betty Jackson, Ana Salazar and the sustainable accessories brand Pelcor. She is currently a member of the ModaLisboa team as project manager, collaborating on national and international projects, and has extensive experience mentoring young designers. In the teaching field, she has collaborated with the Arts Institute of Bournemouth in England, the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco and ETIC.
