Joana Jorge
Joana Jorge is Project Director at ModaLisboa, where she plays a key role in the conception and organisation of Lisbon Fashion Week, as well as in the development of special projects with national and international partners. Her work is closely linked to supporting emerging designers and promoting a more responsible, innovative and collaborative fashion ecosystem.
She represents ModaLisboa on platforms such as the European Fashion Alliance, and in projects in collaboration with various European partners. Throughout her professional career, she has developed a keen understanding of the market, innovation and sustainability, whilst maintaining a constant curiosity about formal development and new approaches to fashion design.
Joana holds a Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London and began her career working as a designer for brands such as Alberta Ferretti, Topshop, Betty Jackson, Ana Salazar and Pelcor.
