Helena Cordeiro

Helena Cordeiro has a degree in Fine Arts — Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Since 2009, she has been a lecturer on the Fashion Design degree programme at ESAD, where she teaches Drawing III, Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration and electives such as Patterns and Printing and Identity in Fashion Design. Her research work is currently focused on the world of children, having contributed to the article “The role of illustration in paediatric hospitalisation”, published in Convergências magazine. 
She takes part in exhibitions and collective projects such as MINDSHAKE. She regularly exhibits for the animal cause, having recently developed illustrations for the book A Sombra do Imperador (Diafragma Editora, 2022), by André Bastos.
