Gustavo Carreiro is an animation director and illustrator. He co-created FAVO Studio in 2011, a Production Company that mixes illustration, video, animation and VFX in its projects. He holds a degree in Digital Arts and Multimedia from ESAD and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design. At FAVO Studio his role is integrated into all project phases, from conceptualisation to illustration, animation and direction of multidisciplinary teams. He has recently worked for organizations and brands such as Porto City Hall, IBM, Vox Media, Bloomberg, Nike and Netflix.
He directed the short films Quaranteen (2020) and Citizen Tourist (2023), both winners of Vimeo Staff Picks and exhibited in National and International cinema festivals. Besides digital media, he is represented by Ó Galeria and unfolds his visual language in the printed format, murals and painting.
