Eduardo Rawdriguez
Eduardo Rawdriguez was born in Havana, Cuba, on 25 October 1982. From an early age, he showed a keen interest in the visual arts, which led him to pursue a solid education in digital photography and image processing at the UNAICC (National Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba).
After completing his initial training, Eduardo furthered his studies, specialising in anthropological photography. His work in this area stood out to such an extent that he joined important institutions such as the Ibero-American Photography Fund, the Fototeca de Cuba and the Cuban Image Fund.
His career as a photographer is marked by a series of exhibitions and recognitions. Eduardo has taken part in three solo exhibitions and seven group exhibitions, and is frequently invited to various exhibitions. His talent and dedication to photography were widely recognised in 2011, when he won First Prize in the ‘Focusing on the Millennium Development Goals’ photography competition. This competition was organised by the United Nations in Cuba, in partnership with the National Council of Plastic Arts and the Fototeca de Cuba.
Throughout his career, Eduardo Rawdriguez has established himself as a respected photographer, especially in the field of anthropological photography, contributing significantly to the preservation and dissemination of Cuban and Ibero-American culture through his images.
