Bernardo Bento holds a degree in Sound for Theatre from ESMAE and a degree in Sound Design from the Portuguese Catholic University. He has worked across different genres and media, in both film and the performing arts, collaborating with a range of artists.

In recent years, he has focused בעיקר on animation film, collaborating regularly with BAP – Animation Studio on several short films. He teaches on the Theatre programme at ESMAE and on the Master’s in Sound Design at the Portuguese Catholic University, in Porto. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts, where his research focuses on acoustic ecology applied to animation film.
