Enzo Peres Portugal Fashion

Enzo Peres Perederko, a final year student in Design - Fashion, is the winner of the Bloom PWD by Salsa Jeans competition, which took place on 3 July at the Old Vasco da Gama Canning Factory in Matosinhos.

The student presented his brand under the name e.p. atel'ye, where he deconstructs the classics of tailoring in an approach that mirrors his experiences. The young designer had already presented some of his looks at the ESAD Showcase the previous day, alongside other collections developed by other ESAD finalists.

Four ESAD candidates took part in the competition. In addition to Enzo, the collections of finalist Nair Silva and former students Hélder Silva and Beatriz Monteiro were on show.

The prize includes financial support of 2,450 euros for the development of his next collection, a six-month paid internship at Salsa Jeans, specialised mentoring, technical and legal support, half a year's press consultancy with Showpress and the offer of a Postgraduate Diploma in Fashion Management at Católica Porto Business School. Enzo will also have the opportunity to present his work at the next editions of Portugal Fashion.

The Bloom PWD by Salsa Jeans competition is organised by Portugal Fashion, in partnership with Salsa Jeans, and is aimed at young designers living in Portugal, aged between 18 and 40, regardless of their academic background. The initiative challenges participants to create Portuguese designer fashion labels with a focus on design, sustainability and international growth.
