Rute Chaves, a lecturer and researcher at ESAD, took part in the talk ‘Embracing Diversity’, which formed part of the ‘Disability and Inclusion’ series of talks organised by Porto City Council and held on 11 June.

The session brought together professionals, researchers and experts to reflect on the rights of people with disabilities, inclusive fashion and the promotion of independent living, encouraging the sharing of experiences and the discussion of more inclusive practices.

ESAD was represented by Rute Chaves, a lecturer and researcher at the institution, who was part of the panel of guests and contributed to the debate on the role of design and fashion in creating solutions that are more accessible, diverse and centred on people’s needs.
