Professor Ana Marta Mendes was awarded the prize for Best Music Video at the “2026 Quirino Awards” for directing the music video “Paulinha” by musician Raul Manarte.

These awards represent one of the leading accolades dedicated to animation produced in the Ibero-American region, bringing together works and professionals from Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Andorra.

The music video combines different visual languages and animation techniques, showcasing Ana Marta Mendes’ work in the fields of animation and directing.

Prior to this award, “Paulinha” also received the Best Music Video award at the Flipbook Film Festival in North Macedonia, and the Best Animation award in the Music Video category at the Paris International Animation Film Festival.
