Within the scope of the Degree in Fashion Design, Joana Jorge, an experienced project manager in the field of national and international Fashion Design, presented a masterclass under the theme 'Preparation of the Portfolio in the area of ​​Fashion Design'.

In this masterclass, students of the Degree in Fashion Design were guided to adapt their portfolio to the academic context (applications for masters and other training levels) and to different actors in the textile and fashion industry (companies and ateliers).

Joana Jorge has a very diversified path in the area of ​​Fashion Design, getting to know different professional realities in close proximity. After completing her master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London, she left for Italy to join Alberta Ferretti's design team. His experience as a designer was later complemented by work at Topshop, Betty Jackson, Ana Salazar, and at the accessories brand Pelcor. She joins the ModaLisboa team as a project manager, which gives her a global perspective on national fashion, encouraging the recognition and dissemination of national designer fashion, promoting a more humane and responsible industry. He coordinates the 'Lisboa Fashion Week' project and monitors the Associação ModaLisboa's parallel projects with national and international partners.
