
ESAD is a partner institution of Hybrid Lab Network, which is promoted by 3S / IBMC (Porto), Aalto University (Helsinki), Alma Mater Europaea Graduate School of Humanities (Ljubljana) and Waag – Technology & Society (Amsterdam).
Hybrid Lab Network is launching an open call for an online hackathon called Learning and teaching Biotech: Applying a STEAM Approach and Designing STEAM Modules, on June 18, 22 and 23.
This hackathon is open to anyone who is interested in cell biology, biotechnology, gene editing, human genetics, behaviour and ethology; in STEAM modules (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths); in innovative teaching and learning approaches to the science fields.
The Biotech-STEAM teaching and learning modules created on this hackathon will be used in higher education institutes in Europe. The winning module will be invited to join successive developing activities of the projects on site of the different partner institutions, as soon as COVID-19 measures permit.
