On October 18, at the Vila Flor Palace in Guimarães, Contextile 2024 — Biennial of Contemporary Textile Art, with the support of the Municipality of Guimarães, organised Educational Textile Talks 2024, an event dedicated to exploring connections for students in artistic and design fields in the context of life and work after graduation. The meeting aimed to promote sustainable interdisciplinary networks and involvement in collaborative public and creative programmes.

Representing ESAD, lecturers Anita Gonçalves, Joana Teodoro and Helena Cordeiro took part in the round table entitled HOOK UP! Challenges and Opportunities, moderated by Natacha Antão. The event also included representatives from EAADUM, UBI, FBAUL and FBAUP, bringing together schools, universities, graduates and professionals interested in textile teaching languages and strategies.
