
Following the institutional partnership between ESAD and the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, under the Ecotrophelia Award 2020 with the theme Innovative Agrofood Product Development and the focus on Packaging Design, the students of the Degree in Communication Design, Ana Catarina Azevedo (Gelalga team), Anna Matilda (Veganisco team) and Bárbara Gomes (Share N'Bite team) are participating in SIAL Paris 2020 – Next Food Generation competition.
ECOTROPHELIA Next Food Generation is a forward-looking space that intends to promote the most promising innovation projects in the development of solutions for the agro-food sector. Selected students and future entrepreneurs have the possibility to exhibit their projects and test the market at SIAL Paris, from 18 to 22 October.
This event is a showcase of the multidimensional extension of food innovation, aimed at food products or ingredients; equipment, processes or logistics; services (physical or digital) and packaging.
To be noted that Ana Catarina Azevedo and Anna Matilda Oxelfelt are part of two of the ten finalist teams to the Ecotrophelia 2020 Award.
