ESAD joins Paredes City Council for the development of a self-construction wooden project with the theme Christmas Treehouse.
It is an initiative that aims to promote the design thinking and process, together with the local industry and community, designed and built by the students of the Master in Interior Design.
In sprint design format, this initiative provides the construction of a piece of wood, which materializes into an habitable tree. Integrating students of various nationalities (Portugal, Brazil, Syria and Italy), it is divided in two phases: the workshop, which takes place at ESAD, from November 12 to 16, and the building processe, that happens in Paredes, from 11 December 14th. The opening of the final piece is scheduled for December 15, at 6:00 pm.
