Regarding the Post Graduated Course in Illustration and Digital Animation, Catarina Sobral presents a conference about her life’s course and her work’s internationalization.

Catarina Sobral is one of the Portuguese illustrators with a wider international divulgation. She published ten illustrated albums in more than twelve languages and has collaborated with clients, such as Enchanted Lion Books, Granta, Magazine Georges, Editions Pióro, Natur & Kultur, Edizioni Bas Bleu, Almanaque Saraiva, Expresso, Diário de Notícias, Silvadesigners, Gulbenkian, Casa da Música, TAP Air Portugal, Niepoort, GUR, Leopardo Filmes, A Música Portuguesa a Gostar Dela Própria, Universal Music, Itaú.

From the innumerous awards she received, a few can be highlighted, such as Bologna Children’s Book Fair (International Award for Illustration, 2014), 3×3 Magazine (Merit – Professional Show No. 10, Merit + Honorable Mention – Professional Show No. 11, Best of Show + Silver Medal – Picture Book Show No. 12, Merit – Professional Show No. 13), Ilustrarte (Selected, 2016) ou Nami Concours (Green Island, 2017).
