Camilo rebelo

Camilo Rebelo was born in Porto in 1972. Graduated in Architecture in the Faculty of Architecture from the University of Porto (FAUP) in 1996. Was collaborator of Eduardo Souto de Moura between 1994 and 1998 and also of Herzog de Meuron between 1998 and 1999. Initiates a liberal activity in 2000.

He was assistant lecturer in FAUP from 1999 to 2013 and invited lecturer at EPFLausanne in 2008 and 2009, in EDFLausanne and Accademia di architettura de Mendrisio, with Souto Moura, from 2010 to 2012, and in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura/Universidad de Navarra in 2012. Since 2015, he is a guest lecturer at Politecnico di Milano.

Rewarded author, during his life course there are some awards that can be highlighted, such as the International Contest for the Conception of the Museum of Art and Archeology from Vale do Côa, in co-authorship with Tiago Pimentel (2004-2009), whom is also awarded, in 2013, with the Award Bauwelt and Baku UIA International and, in 2014, with the Douro Award. He received, in 2007, an honorable mention at the International Contest for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, in co-authorship with Susana Martins. In 2008 is nominated for the Star Tracking – Global Portuguese Talent. In 2009 is selected for the Europe 40 under 40. In 2010 receives an honorable mention at the Contest for the Museum of the Electric Car.

The conference Camilo Rebelo, Selected Works will occur regarding the Degree in Interior Design, module of project.
