The Colours of Things is a publication by Rosa Alice Branco for all professionals who work with colour and for all students and curious people.

The result of five years of research, this book tells stories that allow us to understand the polychromatic reality, the power of colour and the emotions that come with it.

Rosa Alice Branco - poet, essayist, translator, lecturer - has a PhD in Philosophy and, as a researcher, is a member of ID+ (Research Institute in Design, Media and Culture). Her books of poetry have been published in Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Venezuela (collected poetic work), Tunisia, Brazil, Corsica and Quebec. His work has been anthologised in numerous countries, including Russia, Latvia, Hungary, Macedonia, Germany, Italy and the United States of America.

Nuno Grande holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Porto and a PhD in Architecture from the University of Coimbra. He is currently an associate professor at the Architecture Department of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. As a curator and cultural programmer he has organised several exhibitions on Portuguese Architecture in Portugal and Brazil. He is the author and editor of various publications on Architectural Culture and Urban Culture in the Portuguese context.
