The prestigious and award-winning illustrator André da Loba is energizing the classes of Postgraduate in Illustration and Digital Animation of ESAD.

André da Loba is an artist and poet. He studied in Aveiro and New York, where he graduated in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. Within a few years, his work was recognized by the Society of Illustrators of New York, American Illustration, the Book Fair of Bologna and Ilustrarte. He was also distinguished by 3x3, CMYK or Lurzer's Archive magazines, where he was selected as one of the 200 best illustrators in the world in 2010. He is also a frequent contributor to the New York Times and Times Magazine, among other publications. With cardboard sculptures or two-dimensional illustrations, André da Loba signed a dozen and a half children's books in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Brazil, distinguished by his minimalist registration, marked by the use of color and the stylization of geometries and contour shapes simple.
