The masterclass Illustrated Album, organized by the illustrator Mariana Rio and the illustrator José Manuel Saraiva, coordinator of the Graduate in Illustration and Digital Animation, was organized at ESAD.

During the academic year 2017/2018, several other illustration projects were developed under the guidance of prestigious invited illustrators such as Simon Prades (Masterclass), André da Loba (Editorial Illustration), João Castro (Digital Illustration) and Evelina Oliveira (Serigrafia), as well as with the writer Emílio Remelhe / Eugénio Roda (Creative Writing).
