The Panorama of Polish Animation presents around 30 animated films created by students and teachers over more than 30 years of the faculty's existence. The selection includes internationally recognised works such as Ab Ovo (real. Anita Kwiatkowska-Naqvi), Kigo (real. Izumi Yoshida), I Am Here (real. Julia Orlik), Headprickles (real. Katarzyna Miechowicz) and There Are People in the Forest (real. Szymon Ruczyński). The programme also includes lesser-known but equally captivating works, revealing the diversity of voices and approaches within the school.
As well as student films, the programme includes works made by teachers, who often take on the role of artistic supervisors. These include Hipopotamy by Piotr Dumała, Rain by Piotr Milczarek, It Is Quite True by Joanna Jasińska-Koronkiewicz, The Story of the Little Dog by Aleksandra Chrapowicka, Potatoes by Marcin Podolec and Thrown Away Book by Agata Gorządek.
This meeting brings together works by artists from different generations, created using various techniques and offering unique perspectives on the contemporary world.
This initiative by the National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź is a project co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Republic of Poland from the Culture Promotion Fund, with support from the Honorary Patronage of Marshal of the Lodzkie Region Joanna Skrzydlewska, Casa da Animação and Batalha Film Centre.
