On 11 December 2024, from 2.30pm to 4pm, the ESAD Gallery will host the conference The Podcast — Identity, Communication and Promotion, with the participation of guest Alexandra Lello, aimed at CTeSP students and open to the entire academic community.
The podcast is a strategic tool for an organisation's internal or external communication. It is used to attract, involve and retain an audience, promoting the presence of the brand in the consumer's top of mind.
Today, organisations are looking for more than just messages - they want to tell stories, involve their audience and create authentic connections. It is in this context that design plays an essential role, transforming ideas into memorable and impactful experiences: from developing a unique sound identity to creating narratives that truly capture the attention of the target audience.
Alexandra Lello has a degree in Tourism Business Management and a postgraduate qualification in Economics and Pharmaceutical Management, and her professional career has been linked to tourism and the pharmaceutical sector. She is co-owner of the integrated communication agency Widecom-Interactive Communication, with digital projects such as: Zeeko . Podcast Creative Agency, Veep Radio (digital) and Quinta a Fundo (digital magazine on car and motor sport). Alexandra is an author, trainer, producer and voice-over for podcasts, radio programmes, and incorporates activities associated with digital marketing and digital media entrepreneurship.
The conference is organised by the Blue Design Alliance and coordinated by Luisa do Valle, Margarida Azevedo and João Lemos. The initiative is part of the Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP) in Food Product Communication Design and Interface and Multimedia Design, promoting the articulation between technical training and professional practices.

The Higher Professional Technical Courses running at ESAD stem from the Blue Design Alliance consortium, promoted by ESAD. These courses are part of a 6-month internship, award a Level 5 professional diploma (QNQ) and allow more direct access to the job market, but also ensure the possibility of continuing studies in ESAD's Degrees.
