This month, ESAD is hosting the “Design for Business” Masterclass on January 14 in both in-person (Room 2.04) and online formats. As part of the Master's program in Product Design, it explores the transformative impact of design thinking on business innovation and the promotion of sustainable growth.
Led by André Fangueiro, a former ESAD student and Head of Design at Tietoevry with extensive experience in global brands such as Canon, Nestlé and Invacare Medical, the Masterclass highlights how design transcends aesthetics to becoming an essential strategic tool in reshaping business models.
Participants will dive into customer-centered methodologies, learning to adopt tools that facilitate innovative solutions. Through inspiring case studies, including projects such as the Dolfi portable washing machine and innovative medical solutions at Invacare, André Fangueiro illustrates the practical value of design in business transformation.
We open the floor to participants for an interactive Q&A session providing a platform for further exploration of the strategies and insights presented.
