Integrating UX and AI: Methods, Tools, and Frameworks for Digital Product Design

As part of the Water Design Views 2025 cycle, promoted by the Blue Design Alliance, designer André Fangueiro will be visiting the ESAD auditorium to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming UX and product design. The session presents case studies, working models and tools that show how designers can evolve into more strategic roles, integrating AI responsibly and creatively into their processes.
The lecture is open to the public, aimed at higher education students and young professionals up to the age of 30, and registration is mandatory until December 5th.
After the lecture, there will be a workshop focused on the practical exploration of AI methods and tools applied to product design. This session is exclusively for ESAD students (bachelor's and master's degrees).
André Fangueiro is a designer with a degree in Product Design from ESAD and a master's degree in Design and Structures from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has worked with brands such as Canon, Invacare Medical, Laerdal Medical and Nestlé, and founded Human-lab, through which he joined teams that won an IF Award Gold and an IF Award. He has also presented work at the TATE Museum of Contemporary Art in London. He is currently Head of Design at Tietoevry, where he develops projects that combine design, innovation and artificial intelligence.
