ESAD is presenting a masterclass with João Ornelas, a renowned designer with over 30 years' experience in the fields of automotive and product design. This masterclass provides an immersion in the sketching techniques that are fundamental to the visual communication of ideas, an essential skill for any industrial designer.

During the event, João Ornelas will cover sketching and rendering techniques acquired throughout his career, which includes collaborations with international brands such as Renault, Piaggio, VW, Hyundai, and Black & Decker, as well as prestigious awards such as the Red Dot Award, iF Award and ABC Mobility Design Award. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the creative process behind iconic products and vehicles and to develop their own skills in two practical sessions guided by the designer.
