Between 18 and 20 December, the Master's in Design - Communication will hold a conference and workshop led by João Novais.

João Novais is a designer with a degree in Design from the University of Aveiro and in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. His career includes collaborations with studios such as Non-Verbal Club, R2 Design, Studio Degrau and The Royal Studio, as well as projects involving installations and live visuals. Her activities include exhibitions held at Experimenta Design and creating visuals for different musical shows. She also has experience in running workshops related to generative design and data visualisation.

The conference, entitled Designing with Data: Exploring Generative Creativity, will take place on 18 December at 5pm and is open to the public. The workshop, with a practical approach, will be held on 19 and 20 December and is aimed exclusively at students on the Master's Degree in Communication Design.

The event will be an opportunity to explore issues related to generative design and its application in contemporary contexts.
