On September 26, 2025, at 3:15 PM, at Batalha Centro de Cinema, the films “O Teu Lúcido Abismo” (experimental category) and “Entre Nós” (fiction category), produced and directed by the graduating students of the Undergraduate in Digital Arts and Multimedia at ESAD, will be screened.

This screening is part of the 3rd edition of Big Show, an initiative that annually brings together the academic community of Porto to share different practices of production, filmmaking, and teaching, through the screening of final-year films from the city’s main schools, including ESAD, ESAP, ESMAD, Escola das Artes – UCP, and FBAUP.

Selected by the jury composed of Falcão Nhaga, Joana Ribeiro, and Laura Ribeiro, the ESAD's films featured in this edition are:

— “O Teu Lúcido Abismo”, by Rita Variz, which addresses anticipatory grief in everyday life, exploring the theme of memory and its gradual loss.

— “Entre Nós”, by Joana Pinto, Hien Anh Tran, and Maria Miguel Silva, which follows two estranged siblings who, each in their own way, attempt to deal with grief, seeking to keep alive the memory of their childhood home. 

After the session, there will be a cocktail party at the High Life Bar, with a DJ set by Coletivo Epifania, between 5:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
