Auditorium
In partnership with Porto/Post/Doc, we opened the doors of the auditorium for a conversation moderated by Porto/Post/Doc's Programmer Joana Gusmão, Digital Arts graduate finalist Joana Pinto and ESAD's Pedagogical Director Tomé Quadros, based on last edition's programme theme of Porto/Post/Doc (2024) — Europe doesn't exist, I was there — and the screening of the film Take Care of Your Scarf, Tatjana by Aki Kaurismäki [Finland, Germany Finland, Germany, 1994, FIC, 64'].
In a context of receding freedoms and rights and the rise of extremism, young people are invited to reflect on contemporary Europe and its challenges.
Starting from the idea of a Europe built on diversity, this dialogue space seeks to explore the role of cinema as a process of representing its contradictions, preserving memory and identity, and building possible futures.
