Özden Pektaş Turgut is at ESAD for an Expressive Calligraphy Workshop within the framework of the Typography Studies curriculum, under the ERASMUS + mobility program.

The workshop focuses on contemporary calligraphy, exploring what is new, different, unknown and essential for the discovery of new ideas. Participants have the opportunity to create their own typesetting instruments.

Özden Pektaş Turgut was born in Giresun, Turkey. She studied Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts Eskişehir Anadolu and obtained a Master's Degree in Fine Arts (2004) and Proficiency in Art (2009) from the Institute of Social Sciences at Hacettepe University. Se has also worked as a designer in several agencies and institutions and holds individual exhibitions regularly, having participated in more than 70 collective exhibitions in the national market.
