Presentation of the works developed by the 2nd year students from the Degree in Interior Design regarding the modules Construction for Interiors and Digital Laboratory II, coordinated by Paulo Seco and Paulo Pereira.

The purpose of this proposal is to create a wooden construction and its different origins (solid, laminated and chipboard), with predefined dimensions and structures for exploring the technological and expressive characteristics of this material, with the purpose of forming an interior space and creating relations with the exterior through two elements, one for entry and exit of users and other for the entry and exit of light.

In the CAD strand, we proceed to the three-dimensional modeling of the structure, with the elaboration of simple and sectioned perspectives, cuts and orthographic views, as well as the exploration of the expressive potential of illustration, combining information extraction techniques from the three-dimensional model, both projective and lighting simulation.
