Concerning the work developed at the ESAD Week 2016, regarding the module Digital Lab 2, ESAD was invited to participate in the last official video from the Portuguese band White Haus.

During the ESAD Week, an experimental rotoscope animation was developed about the previous video from White Haus, a workshop where students from 1st, 2nd and 3rd year participated, which motivated a second phase of the project, the development of an official intervention in a video regarding a band from Porto.

This intervention from ESAD was developed together with the musician João Vieira, leader of the band White Haus, and with the video producer, Vasco Mendes. This project consists in an intervention in 720 frames which compose the film’s narrative, from the work of 150 students. The workshop took place from 11 to 13 May, from 9:30-12:30/14:00-17:00, at the Master room at ESAD. To launch the project, a general presentation session was created at ESAD’s auditorium, on May 9. The workshop was guided by Sérgio Correia and Eliana Penedos, regarding the module Digital Lab II.
