Every year, the students of the Master's Degree in Product Design and the Postgraduate Degrees in Mobility Design and Furniture Design carry out a study visit, within the scope of the Contextual Studies curricular unit, as a reference and inspiration base for future projects.

This year, the visit was to Salamanca, between 6 and 9 March. The city, which is located in the northwest of Spain and is known as the "Golden City", has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, hosts the third oldest university in the world and several historical monuments.

The students visited local universities, museums and businesses, namely the Museo del Comercio y la Industria, the Museum of Automobile History, the Casa Lis (Museum of Art Nouveau and Art Deco); the Domus Artium 2002 and the University Museum of Salamanca, where they collected images for the creation of a video documentary.
