
A team of ERASMUS+ students, within the course Portuguesa Language and Culture, and the students of Vilnius College of Design/Lithuania that are doing ESAD’s Bachelor course in Interior and Furniture Design, joined to visit the region of Vale do Douro.
The visit, that took place on March 14th,had its high moment visiting the Museu de Arte e Arqueologia do Vale do Côa, an opportunity to appreciate the traces of the rock art of the region and the drawing of the museum, project of the architects Pedro Tiago Pimentel and Camilo Rebelo.
Afterwards they visited the region of Vale do Douro - World Heritage – around the villages of Pinhão and Régua, an opportunity to the foreign students getting to appreciate the colourful landscape of the almond tree blossom, the vineyards implementation that are on the origin of Porto Wine, and at the same time improving their knowledge of our country and its language, culture and history.
