The students of the Degree in Fashion Design carried out a study visit to the Basque Country, from January 18 to 20, within the scope of the curriculum course of Fashion and Jewelery.

The trip was centered in the visit to the Museu Cristobal Balenciaga, in Getaria, for exploration of the exhibition Cristóbal Balenciaga - Fashion and Heritage.

Cristóbal Balenciaga (1895-1972) was a fashion designer, founder of the Balenciaga house, considered the master of all of us by Christian Dior or the only couturier in the true sense of the word by Coco Chanel. Since 2011, the Cristobal Balenciaga Museum has a collection of 1,200 pieces, largely made available by its pupil Hubert de Givenchy or by clients such as Grace Kelly.

The visit also included a [Guggenheim Museum] in Bilbao.
