It does not interest us here to elaborate a critical analysis or a deep historical contextualization, but we cannot resist making a brief passage through the temporal sequence of what has come to light in Portugal in this art, since the famous and initial work of Bordalo (…), and that which is surely one of the most brilliant national works in comics: You are the Woman of My Dreams, She is the Woman of My Life ", as explained in the introductory text of the catalogue accompanying the exhibition.

More than a historical repository, this homage is a re-reading through a journey through the authors and emblematic works of the past, with plates chosen and recreated by some of the most representative cartoonists of current generations.
