Project launch for the Post-Graduation in Automotive and Transportation Design, with special guest teacher and designer Boris Fabris.
This workshop addresses how electric SUV’s and ATV’s might look like in the future. UME is an evolutionary vehicle based on the iconic Portuguese UMM; inspired by Peugeot’s commercial and technological trends.
Together with Boris Fabris and course coordinator Jeremy Aston, this project focuses on the vehicle package, design and styling issues, in the form of visual research, conceptual sketching and experimental foam models.
Boris Fabris is a prestigious automotive designer from Italy. His current position: freelance consultant and lecturer, previously working for Fioravanti, Italdesign Giugiaro, Haima Automobile, and guest teacher at Auburn University (USA), DJ Academy (India), University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic) and Vallauri Institute of State for Industry and Crafts (Italy).
This workshop took place during ESAD OPEN WEEK 2018, under the Post Graduated Course in Automotive and Transportation Design.
