
Guided by Ursula Lima and Angela Carvalho, the workshop TransformaDesign brings together design thinking with the practice of a martial art - Kung Fu.
What happens when design and kung fu meet?; What are the skills designers must develop to work in a changing world?; How to awaken strategic intelligence during the creation process? are some of the issues to be addressed in this interdisciplinary workshop, which suggests new approaches, dynamics and body movements as a way of transforming consciousness and conduct.
Ursula Lima is a senior master of Moy Yat Ving Tsun Martial Intelligence, Martial Art expert Ving Tsun Kung Fu recognized by International Moy Yat Ving Tsun Federation; international consultant and lecturer on * Strategic Intelligence, focusing on human development.
Angela Carvalho is an internationally recognized designer, photographer, teacher and consultant for her work in strategic design, product and image. International speaker and jury for the IF Design Award, she is also the founder, with Alexander Neumeister, of * NCS Design Rio *. She is a disciple of Ursula Lima and an advanced level practitioner of *Ving Tsun Kung Fu*.
