The fact that Portugal is known by its explorers is a starting point for the Growing Gifs workshop, which will take place on 23 and 24 April, with Janna Beck and Inga Cornil from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

The workshop is dedicated to visual exploration in collaborative design as part of the research project Growing Gifs. For this, the students have to challenge the concept of time, distance and space of contemporary society.

A workshop where the concept of drawing as the basic for the metier in the context of contemporary high tech society is questioned and the common ground between the academic metier and new media is researched.

This action is carried out within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Program Teaching Mobility.
